The Convict Indentures states that Elizabeth Byers is 26 years old. She could read; religion Protestant; status married with 2 daughters and 1 sons and is a native of Belfast. She is a needle women. Elizabeth was convicted of stealing cloth at Antrim on 2 July 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 10 1/2 inches; complexion ruddy; hair brown and eyes hazel grey. Transport number 91. Prisoner number 90-38.
