Catherine married William Reed (Convict William Read - Katherine Stewart Forbes) 5th February 1841 in Wollongong NSW. Catherine earned her certificate of Freedom 30 Oct 1846 (46/1029) This Catherine is not to be confused with the older Catherine Byrne wife of Charles Biggs per ship Westmoreland. This Catherine Byrne also sailed on the Minerva
