DOB, 1769, native of Annamoe, catholic.Wicklow Co. spouse: m. 1812 Liverpool, Sarah Franklin. Died 1848 Collector. Found in 1811 muster. -------------------------------------------------- 1828 Census index. James Byrne, age 60, F.S. Anne, 1801, 7 years, catholic, Settler, (family over) Appin district, has 200 acres of land, of which 100 acres are cleared and 35 cultivated. Has 30 cattle Sarah Byrne, age 42, F.S. Minstrel, 1812, 7 years, catholic, and 8 children, Thomas, aged 13, John, aged 11, Mary, 9, Fanny, 8, Susannah, 6, Catherine, 4, Patrick, 2, and James jun. aged 9 months.
