In relation to my last comment - the first sentence should read, "Owen Byrne buried at Bungendore Cemetery was born in the colony on 16 Feb 1805 to Andrew Byrne (arr Minerva 1800) and Mary Lewin (arr Anne 1801)."

Andrew Byrne buried at Bungendore Cemetery was born in the colony on 16 Feb 1805 to Andrew Byrne (arr Minerva 1800) and Mary Lewin (arr Anne 1801). He died on the 1 July 1876 and is buried next to his wife and children. - sources include death certificate, visit to grave and estate papers of Andrew Byrne held in the Mitchell library, Sydney NSW. This Owen Byrne was never a convict nor did he live or visit Ireland.

Owen Byrne was tried at Wexford in 1826. Owen was single, native place Meath, 5'4 3/4" tall, hazel eyes, brown hair, ruddy complexion. 31/3/1828: Absconded from No 18 road gang. 9/8/1832: Assigned to Isaac Shepherd at Kissing Point. 1832: TOL Sutton Forest 26/6/1833: COF 5/1/1839: COF renewed.
