Trial 23 Mar 1841 at Cavan IRE for waylaying & robbery. Family: father Francis; mother Betsy; brothers Thomas, James & Francis Desc: aged 20 from Cavan IRE, single, 5'2.75" tall, illiterate, RC In VDL he was convicted of drunkenness twice & admonished. TOL 29 Sep 1847 CP recommended 12 Mar 1849, approved 15 Apr 1850 Permission to marry Dec 1847 - Catherine Riddle (free). They married in Pontville 2 Feb 1848, and had at least 2 children together (born 1849, 1852) Residences: Pontville, Brighton, Hobart
