Samuel Cake was 16 years old on arrival, he was 5'4½" tall (newspaper report of his absconding says 4'11¾" tall), red hair, hazel eyes, sailor on left arm, dove on right, pockpitted. Native Place: Plymouth. 13/6/1823: Public Works. 2/3/1825: Absconded from George Town-50 lashes 1/4/1825: Absconded from the Public Works at George Town-50 lashes. 30/5/1825: Absconded from the Public Works-50 lashes and sent to Maria Island. 22/1/1827: Free Certificate.
