Mary Callaghan was transported to Sydney, New South Wales on the 'Speedy' 1789. She was then transferred to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania)on the same ship, arriving 01/01/1800. Convicted in London 1787 - 7 yr sentence. No offence details recorded in record book, notated "name could not be found". Convict no. 10211 23/02/1826: Assigned to Mr. Everett. Rambling in the streets of Hobart Town at 12 o'clock at night. Admonished. 24/02/1827: Assigned to Mr. Everett. Drunk & disorderly, in Hobart. Fined.
