Tried: Aberdeen, 25 Apr 1826, Transportation – 7 years; Per Princess Charlotte, 27 March 1827, New South Wales. ----------------------------------------------------------- The following persons are indicted to stand trial before the ensuing Circuit Court of Justiciary to be held at Aberdeen :- From the County of Aberdeen- Helen Campbell, uttering forged notes; ... Caledonian Mercury, 8 April 1826. Helen Campbell, accused of uttering some forged one pound notes of the Banking Company of Aberdeen, pled Guilty, and was sentenced to seven years transportation. Inverness Journal, 5 May 1826.
