(Turner) produced perhaps 2children: 1.John (Turner) was tried with his brother Mark & 2others with poaching pheasants in Norford near Swaffham Norfolk & possible house breaking at Surrey Quarter Sessions, sentenced to xxxyears & held at Swaffham Bridewell gaol. ..John (Turner) does not have an entry on this Website as yet; & may indeed not have come to Australia. .. However, it may be he who arrived in NSW on 9 7 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship WILLIAM AND ANN. He was Free by Servitude by 1798 & had a relationship with Rebecca (Campbell) & produced 1child. John (Turner) & Rebecca (Campbell) produced 1child: 1.Catherine (Turner) was born on 29 8 1798 & baptised on 23 12 1798 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She married Edward (Lindsey) on 20 9 1810 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. She was recorded in 1814 off stores with her family. CCONVICT ..Edward (Lindsey) was born about 1765. He was tried at Surrey Assizes on 25 7 1796, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW on 18 5 1798 after a voyage of 8.5monyhs on BARWELL. He was recorded in 1806 at Parramatta. He was recorded in 1814 on stores as basket weaver with his family. He married Caroline/yn (Laycock her third (3of6) relationship) in 1792 (not shown in Smees records). He was Free by Servitude by 1796.
