March 1831 STRABANE MORNING POST: Charles and Daniel Canavan were convicted of stealing two sheep, on the night of the 26th February last, the property of JOSEPH WILSON at Dervoghroy – Guilty. Daniel was aboard same ship. Charles was 26 years old on arrival, was married with 1 child. Convict Death Register: Died about three months since reported verbally Mr Hely Memo. No date given.
