CLONMEL ASSlZES— Thursday. Thomas Cantwell was found guilty of breaking into the house of Mr. Whitford, at Muntoar, and taking away arms. Waterford Mail, 26 March 1831. Thomas Cantwell, was then placed at the bar, charged with having on the 22d Nov., stolen two guns, the goods of Francis Whitworth, and on and on another count for putting Mary Heley, in dread of her life.—Guilty. Tipperary Free Press, 26 Mar 1831. The following persons (44 in number) were transmitted from our County Jail, on yesterday morning, to the Hulk at Cork, under rule of transportation. They were escorted a party of the 1st Dragoon Guards: Edmond Penders, John Donghan.
