Mary Ann Carbery either married or lived with John Hazelwood and had children in Balranald District. My Great Grandfather John Henry Hazelwood was born on Canally Station on the Murrumbidgee River. My Grandfather William Quince was born in Euston. His Grandparents were John and Mary Hazelwood.

Mary Ann Carbery was convicted at Kings Co., on 15/07/1850 for arson - houseburning. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar',arriving 29/05/1851.
