Born about 1804, Herefordshire, England. 1823, OCTOBER 1: Cassidy. Not living with her Master. Factory. 1823 MUSTER: In the Factory, Hobart Town. 1826, FEBRUARY 16: Maycock. Absent from her Mistress's premises yesterday without leave. Factory for assignment. 1826, APRIL 13: Lempriere. Absconding from Mr Lempriere 9th April and remaining absent till apprehended 11th April by Constable Kerby. Reprimanded. 1826, JUNE 10: Riotous and disorderly conduct in the Factory on the 2nd June and following days. Locked up in the Lower Bed Room and fed on bread and water 7 days. 1827: Bentley, Launceston. Drunk and disorderly. To be placed in the stocks 2 hours (punishment suspended). 1827, FEBRUARY 28: Bentley. Absenting herself from her Master's service on Monday night. Ordered to be confined 14 days on bread and water. 1827, APRIL 20: Bentley. Disobedience of orders and repeatedly absconding from her Master's house. Reprimanded. 1827, JULY 25: Married to Thomas Monds at Launceston. 3 children born thereafter. 1827, AUGUST 3: Wife of Monds. Absent from Muster and Church on Sunday last. Reprimanded. 1832, AUGUST 24: FS. Striking William Noble, her husband's assigned servant, on the head with a plate. Noble to be returned to Government. 1832, DECEMBER 24: Wife of Monds. Threatening Mary Bennett. Bound over to keep the peace 3 months. 1837, SEPTEMBER 25: FS. Drunk. Fined 5 shillings. 1837, OCTOBER 20: Using obscene language. Ann Mary (or Mary Ann) CARDIN was convicted at Newington, Surrey Dec 1820 for stealing a pocket book and money. 7yr transportation sentence. Transported to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Providence' then on to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania). 1 Oct 1823: Not living with her assigned Master. Sent to the Female Factory. Other records of misconduct.
