The Convict Indentures states that Mary Carmody is 13 years old. She could neither read or write; religion Roman Catholic; status single and is a native of Enniskilen. She is a children's maid. Mary was convicted of stealing a clock (type not stated) at Limerick City in July 1837 and sentenced to 7 years. She had no prior conviction. Physical attributes: Height 4 feet 7 1/4 inches; complexion ruddy; hair light brown and eyes blue. Transport number 46. Prisoner number 46-38.
