First convicted aged 15 years, served 12 maths for larceny. Joined 8th King's Regiment of Foot aged 21, served in America, discharged 30/06/1839 due to liver problems. Returned to life of crime, two year record of trouble. Transported for stealing tobacco from a warehouse and died a few months after arrival, at Darlington, Maria Island, -- no cause of death recorded
