Catherine CARROLL was convicted at Waterford, Ireland in 1832 for vagrancy. 7yr sentence. Transported to New South Wales, Australia per the 'Andromeda' arriving Sept 1834. Nurse maid; aged 22yrs; ruddy complexion; 5'4". April 1835 Application for Permission to marry granted - to Thomas McDonnell (transported per 'Asia' 1825). 11 March 1840: Certificate of Freedom granted.
