The Convict Indentures states that Mary Carroll was 24 years old. She could read; religion Roman Catholic; status single and a native of Queen’s County. She was a country servant. Mary was convicted of Larceny at Queen’s Country on 17 June 1837 and sentenced to 7 years transportation. She had no prior convictions. Physical attributes: height 5 feet 4 inches; complexion fair and ruddy; hair brown and eyes grey. Transport number 62. Prisoner number 62-38.
