Mary (Carroll) was born about 1766. She was tried for possession of forged note at Dublin Ireland, sentenced to 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 19 11 1818 after a voyage of 4months on ELIZABETH; she may have been sent to Female Factory. It may be she who is recorded at the Female Factory in 1821. [These details taken from this Website; where 2of the name are found-some of the information already on the Website appears to refer to the other & the date March 1818 & word 'oftler-(looks after horses)' & daughter age18 defy interpretation]
