Peter CARROLL was convicted at Wexford, Ireland 7 April 1840 for receiving stolen goods (brass). 7 yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen’s Land (Tasmania) per the ‘Egyptian’ arriving 12 Dec 1840.

1841: Absent. 10 days solitary confinement.
1841: Disorderly conduct. 25 stripes. Port Arthur penal settlement.
1841: Having a quantity of bread in his possession. 14 days solitary confinement, Port Arthur penal settlement.
