6/7/1833 Birmingham Journal West Midlands, England: George Carter, 50, labourer, and Robert Jealous, 23, brewer, charged with having stolen a sheep the property of Samuel Vaines, at Barking, on the 17th March - Transported for life. (Robert Jealous arrived NSW per 'Captain Cook' 1833.) George Carter was listed as 45??years old on arrival in VDL - he was born in Lowton, Essex. George was 5'2" tall, grey hair and eyes, bald top of head, right arm has been broken. He was married with 9 children, Wife Elizabeth at Barking, children with her.
