John Carter was transported along with his father Joseph Everett Carter, who was on the same ship. 1845: TOL Moreton Bay 16/12/1845: TOL Passport, on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Clarence River. 3/10/1848: TOL Passport, on the recommendation of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Grafton. 23/4/1846: Married Mary Ann Willett at Grafton/Clarence River. They had 3 children, William, James and Mary Ann. 16/2/1851: John died and is buried at St Andrew's, County of Cumberland, NSW. Mary Ann Willett married Patrick Walsh on 8/6/1852 in Killarney, QLD. They had 7 children. Mary was born 5/8/1829 and died 21/12/1909 at Swan Creek, Warwick QLD.
