1840: Granted a Free Certificate No.859. 1862: Hugh Cartwright, per Lady Kennaway, whose age is given as 40, died on the 30th July. An inquest the following day found that he had been accidentally poisoned with carbonic acid while cleaning a fermenting vat at the brewery in Campbell Town (see Inquests, https://librariestas.ent.sirsidynix.net.au/client/en_AU/names/search/results?qu=Hugh&qu=Cartwright#)
