Convict Notes
Henry Case was transported for stealing 19 yards of printed cotton. He was 30 years old on arrival in VDL, 5'3 1/2" tall, brown hair, grey eyes, native place: St Andrews, scar under left eye, scar outer corner left eye, scar corner of mouth. Henry was married with a wife and 1 child. 1842 Census: Henry was living in Brisbane Street, Hobart. 25/1/1830: Henry married Bridget Almond, they had a daughter Lydia in 1838, Henry 1840, Jessie Halkrow in 1843. Henry Case died on 7/11/1879 in Brisbane Street aged 83 of Senility, he was still a shoemaker.
