Thomas Casey, Denis Casey, and Michael Dunn, were put to the bar, and indicted with having, on the morning of the 10th of January, burglariously broken into the house of Denis Garr, at uincoudra, and stole thereout a quantity of spirits, flour, soap, candles and other articles. The prisoners were apprehended by case-officer Gorman, and a considerable portion of the property recovered.— The particulars the case appeared our publication shortly after the transaction. The prisoners were all found Guilty. Dublin Observer, 19 Feb 1832. Close of the Commission pronounced upon prisoners convicted at the Commission: … Thomas Casey, Denis Casey, and Michael Dunn, for robbery in a dwelling-house. Transportation for life. Casey, looking up the gallery, said “All my debts in Dublin are paid.” Dublin Weekly Register, 18 Feb 1832.
