John Casey was tried for stealing a parcel of goods (particularly some blankets). He was recently employed in Westminster (3weeks) and had been sent to pawn some other blankets by his employer earlier on the day. John Casey's defence is that he thought he was taking the parcel for his employer (and was rather drunk). However, his employer had missed the goods and gone looking for them at John Casey's home. John Casey had meanwhile been arrested with the parcel in another area of London (Whitechapel). Digital panopticon has linked him with transportation on the Active.
