Convict Permission to Marry. Charles Rootsey, per Albion, (2), age 26, Life; T of L; and Mary Cashore; alias Mary Bourke, per Surrey (2) age 32, 7 years, Bond: Married; 2 children. Date of application: 13 Apr 1837, Sutton Forest. No marriage found. Charles Rootsey married someone else in 1846.




Wednesday, April 7. Thirteen females, and one male, were presented by the Grand Jury as vagrants : the females were all found Guilty, and sentenced to seven years transportation, if unable give bail in six months, themselves in £l0, and two securities in £5 each.
