Patrick Caslin was 20 years old and his native place was Roscommon. Listed as Castles: 1815 Aug 15: On list of convicts disembarked from the "Canada" and "Francis and Eliza" and forwarded to Windsor for distribution (Reel 6004; 4/3494 p.141) 1819: Petition for mitigation of sentence (Fiche 3193; 4/1857 p.58) 1823 Oct 29: Permitted to pass through Patricks Plains (Reel 6011; 4/3509 p.489) 1824 Jan 12: Servant of John Howe (Junior). Permitted to pass from Windsor, with cattle, to No.8 Township in the County of Durham (Reel 6012; 4/3510 p.168) 24/5/1827: Permission to marry Honora O'Brien (Brothers) she was 22 and Patrick 32. They married in 1827 at C of E Pitt Town, under Castles. They had 2 children that I found, John and Mary Ann, born in Goulburn. 1827: TOL 11/2/1832: CP Patrick was 5'0 3/4" tall, fair complexion, dark brown hair and hazel eyes. 29/10/1828: Appointed Constable at Patrick Plains, Hunter River, listed as Caslin. 19/11/1828: Honora was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for stealing a piece of silk. Patrick was dismissed as a Constable and then most records were under 'Castles' from then on. 27/2/1877: Patrick died, aged 82 and is buried at Tamworth, along with his son John who died 13/1/1907 and daughter Mary Ann who died 1908.
