County Sessions. Thomas Hall, Barney Cassidy, Robert Myers, Susan Ryan, Barney Carr, and James Harrington, the gang who was apprehended in November last for being concerned in some of the most extensive robberies ever committed in the neighbourhood of Liverpool, as well as in Cheshire, were tried on Tuesday. Hall was admitted evidence and Ryan was acquitted; the other four prisoners were found guilty. Carr was sentenced to 14 years' transportation; and Cassidy, Myers, and Harrington to be transported for seven years.
