THE undermentioned Persons have obtained … Tickets of Leave, during the last Week :— Martha, Peter Cassidy, Camden ; Sydney Gazette, 17 June 1824. NSW Convict Index. Peter Cassidy, per Martha, 1818, Certificate of Freedom, 29 Sep 1825, No 121/4340. TL 246/1180; see CF 38/963. ------------------- Peter Cassidy and John Hart were indicted for a larceny, in stealing three handkerchiefs, from the shop of Wakefield Simpson, at Maitland. The jury found Hart, Not Guilty, Cassidy, Guilty. The Court sentenced Cassidy to be transported for seven years. Sydney Gazette, 4 June 1831. --------------------------- Peter Cassidy, per Martha, 1818, Certificate of Freedom, 26 Oct 1838, No 38/0963.
