THE undermentioned Persons have obtained … Tickets of Leave, during the last Week :— Martha, Peter Cassidy, Camden ; Sydney Gazette, 17 June 1824. NSW Convict Index. Peter Cassidy, per Martha, 1818, Certificate of Freedom, 29 Sep 1825, No 121/4340. TL 246/1180; see CF 38/963. ------------------- Peter Cassidy and John Hart were indicted for a larceny, in stealing three handkerchiefs, from the shop of Wakefield Simpson, at Maitland. The jury found Hart, Not Guilty, Cassidy, Guilty. The Court sentenced Cassidy to be transported for seven years.
