Digitised Indent for ship Atlantic. Robert Chaff, Dead. Tried at Exeter, 16 March 1789, 7 years. Robert’s name has a X through it, and the word Dead. He would have been one of the 18 convicts who died on the journey, out of the 220 men who were embarked on the Atlantic.
