Convict Notes

He is buried there under the headstone for "Margaret Agatha the Beloved Wife of John Walsh, Aged 20 Years" = WILLIAM DOYLE, SON OF MIcHAEL DOYLE-MARGARET WEST. Further lines deciphered are-HE cAME FROM WHERE THE ROSE OF TRALEE WAS THAT pLACE...THE pARENTS OF FRANcIS, WILLIAM, ELLEN AND ANNE DOYLE FAREWELLED THEM ON THE SHORE OF TRALEE WHEN THEY LEFT IRELAND TO FACE THE HARDSHIPS OF THE NEW WORLD....JESuS IS THE WAY THE LIGHT THE TRUTH...HE pRAYED THE ROSARY EVERY DAY...WILLIAM REAcHED THE COLONY ON THE MARY ANNE WHEN HE WAS "TWENTY YEARS OLD".....WILLIAM DOYLE, A LIFELONG BAcHELOR, MOVED TO THE TAYLORS 5 ACRE BuSH BLOCk AT FORDWICH CALLED "KILLARNEY" NEARTO SINGLETON (after 1851).

I see on the Casey Collection of Irish baptisms that Michael Doyle & Margaret West were the parents of Francis(akaDaniel)1812,Gulielmum translates to William 1814,Ellen 1815, Annai 1818(aka Mary Ayton) baptised at Listowel Parish,Killarney in Kerry. The alias William Ayton and William Clyton use the letters of Roman Catholic and Michael Doyle.William Ayton almost same spelling as Mary Ayton. NSWBDM 4609/1871, Death of William Doyle, buried at Murrurundi Catholic Cemetery.

William Chambers alias Ayton obtains Ticket of Leave Passport 18 September 1847 from Maitland Bench. He receives Conditional Pardon on 10 June 1850. HE WAS A BACHELOR...Name William Chambers shares most letters with I believe his parents names Michael Doyle/Margaret West except DOY and GTT. I am descended from convict Ellen Doyle-Taylor, sister of William Doyle(Chambers) and she resided at Clarencetown,Maitland and Fordwich. So did her convict brother Daniel Doyle. Also their convict sister Mary Ayton(Anne Doyle) was assigned to Dungog and married George Durm0n in the Hunter Valley.

Believe born as William Doyle to Michael Doyle and Margaret West.William Doyles sister Ellen Doyle used name Ellen Healy in Darlinghurst,NSW Gaol 1849. Ellen has used HEAL from Michael and Y from Doyle to form Healy. Chambers takes the letters CHAE from Michael and MAR S from MARgaret weSt. William Doyles brother born Francis became convict aka Daniel Doyle. ANI from frANcIs and DEL from Doyle. Their convict sister Mary Doyle was sent here as Mary AYTON in 1842. Probably YTON from County Kerry, their birthplace. Alias Michael AYTON uses the same name as Aka Mary AYTON. IMO there were no descendants of William and Anne Doyle. I knew about "only Ellen" thru my father twice mentioning her name and Irish origin.
