Susannah is shown variously as born in period 1782-5 & 1791-2 maybe in Surrey. There is a suggestion that she brought a child with her on HMS GLATTON (which indicates she would have been born before 1788). Her husband (William (Rayner) from SCARBOROUGH had previously partnered Elizabeth (Goldsmith) & produced 3children. With her husband William (Rayner) she produced 9 children. She was recorded as Free by Servitude as early as 1810 at Sydney. She's also recorded at Newcastle in 1814, at Hobart Town with 3children (1off stores 2on stores) in 1818, at Hobart Town with a constable in 1819, at Hobart Town in 1820 & 1822, at Newcastle or VDL in 1830 & at Hobart with William (Rayner) in 1831. William (Rayner) has an entry on this Website.
