Born Wolverhampton. Father Joseph. Mother Phoebe. Sentenced to 7 years transportation for stealing two sovereigns. Occupation Iron roller. TOL granted January 1847. Left VDL for Melbourne. Convicted of Robbery in Company in Melbourne 19 July 1854 and sentenced to 7 years hard labour. TOL 19 March 1857 for Kyneton district. Employed by John Brewer (Thomas Arbuthnot 1847). Arrested in Melbourne July 1857.
