Hobart Town--On the 31st ultimo, a warrant for the arrest of Charles Holebrook, charged with leaving his two children at Hobart Town, about the 22nd ultimo, without means of support. Description--46 years old, 5 feet 9 inches high, florid complexion, dark hair, sandy whiskers, head medium, visage narrow, eyes dark, nose small, large thick lips ; native place Bristol ; a carpenter. This man is stated to have left Hobart Town about the 22nd ultimo for the Black Boy Diggings. Tasmania Police Gazette, 1st Sept 1871, p142.
