Norfolk Lent assizes. Charles Moore, aged 15, pleaded guilty to both charges brought against him. The one of having stolen, on the 15th of Aug. last, various articles wearing apparel from the dwelling house of Robt. Girling, of Great Melton; the other, of having stolen various articles of wearing apparel, the property of Wm.Juby, of Carlton Forehoe. Sentence of Death was passed upon him. Geo. Powell, aged 18, pleaded guilty t Norfolk Chronicle, 22 March 1823. Charles Moore, charged on the oath of Robert Girling, of Great Melton, labourer, with having broken into his dwelling-house, in the day time, no person being therein, and stolen thereout various articles of wearing apparel, his property; also on the oath of Wm. Juby, of Carlton Forehoe, bricklayer, with having broken into the dwelling-house of Deborah Juby, of the same place, in the day time, no person being therein, and stolen thereout various articles of wearing apparel, the property of the said Wm. Juby.—Guilty—Death, Norwich Mercury, 22 March 1823.
