1832: On arrival in VDL, he was listed as single and 18 years old [clearly this record and his court record are at odds; his height suggests a younger age as well]. He was 4'11¾" tall with black hair and brown eyes (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON18-1-6$init=CON18-1-6p117).

Accused: William Charleton, son of Robert Charleton, dog breaker, Age: 14, dog breaker, Address: Carrubbers Close, High Street, Edinburgh, Origin: Born in Edinburgh.
