1861 William & Eliza are living at Sun Street, Biggleswade,he is a 21 year old Agriculture Labourer Eliza is a 20 year old Straw Plaite The West Australian Sat 15 April 1922 CHESSUM - In Loving memory of William Chessum who died April 15,1920 also Little Willie,grandson of the above who died September 15,1903 God sensed when the footsteps falter, When the pathway has grown to steep, So he closeth the drooping eyelids, And giveth His Loved ones sleep. Inserted by his Loving daughter,M Harding, and son-in-law J Harding and Grand daughter Ivy CHESSUM -In Loving Memory of our dear husband and father,who departed this life on April 15,1920 The rolling stream of life goes on But still the vacant chair, Recalls the Love the voice, the smiles, Of one who once sat there.
