Trial 2 Apr 1849 at Co. Cork IRE for Arson & 2 years on the Town. Admitted her guilt by stating that "I committed the offence for the purpose of being transported" Family: brother Robert; sister Sophia Desc: aged 16 from Co. Cork IRE, 4'9.75" tall, illiterate, RC, fresh complexion, light hazel eyes, black hair, face slightly freckled, single, violent temper & quarrelsome Ship Surgeon Sick List: 25 Aug - 28 Aug 1849, obstipatio, cured Permission to marry 26 Mar 1852, approved - Hugh Fairley (Blenheim). They married 22 May 1852 at the residence of Congregational Minister Rev William Waterfield, Green Ponds. They had at least 3 children together born 19 Feb 1853; 15 May 1855; 24 Sep 1856 Residences: Coal River; Lower Jerusalem; Oatlands; Hobart; Insane Asylum New Norfolk; Green Ponds; Bridgewater Died 6 Jun 1908 at Oatlands aged 76, a cooper's widow, of a cerebral haemorrhage
