Native Place: Staffordshire. Charles was 5'7ΒΌ" tall, pale complexion, brown hair, grey eyes. Colonial Secretary Index: CHIDLOW, Charles. Per "Hindostan", 1821 1821 Nov 29: On list of convicts disembarked from the "Hindostan" and forwarded to Parramatta for distribution (Reel 6008; 4/3504A p.102) Assigned to Mr. Redmans Clearing Party, Windsor. 10/1/1828: COF C1838: Permission to marry Alice McMullin (Caroline) - she was 24 and on bond - Charles was 25 and free. At Bathurst. 1838: Married Alice McMullen at Abercrombie District/Bathurst.
