Christopher Tomlinson was listed as neing 21 years old on arrival in VDL - he was 5'4¾" tall, pale complexion, light brown hair, light grey eyes. Marital Status: Single - although on his Conduct Record it says:- Wife Sarah at ??field. 1832 Muster: Assigned to Mr. Rd. Webley 1833 Muster: Assigned to Mr. R. Mather. 1835 Muster: Assigned to Mr. R. Webber. 11/12/1839: TOL 12/3/1844 Colonial Times, Hobart: GOVERNMENT NOTICE. Colonial Secretary's, Office, 5th March, 1844. The Lientenant-Governor having had under his consideration the circumstances attendant on the capture of four armed runaways from Port Arthur, at the house of Mr. Ferguson, at Swan Port, has been pleased to recommend to her Majesty that conditional pardons, be granted to the four under-mentioned prisoners, for. their meritorious conduct on that occasion : Christopher Tomlinson, Lord Lyndoch Michael Tully, Guildford Robert Farrell, Minerva Charles Perkins, England. By His Excellency's Command, J. E. BICHENO.
