25/8/1780: Elizabeth Lowe married John Chudleigh at Churstin. They had 2 children, John in 1781 and Elizabeth in 1782 (there may have been more). 28/3/1820: Absolute Pardon (which meant she could return to England).




Elizabeth was my 6th great grandmother. her maiden name was lowe. her husband was john chudleigh born Oct 12 1755. Elizabeth died Nov 29 1826 in Exeter, Devonshire, England, so she mus hav made it back
