Physical Description Height 5ft 7in Complexion Fresh Head Large Hair Dark Brown, 1870 Dark Grey 1879 Visage Round Forehead High Eyebrows Brown, 1870 Greyish, 1879 Eyes Hazel Nose Large Whiskers None, shaved off Mouth Wide Chin Broad, dimple Small mole on right eye lid. Wart on left thumb. Little finger (right) - crooked. Scar on left forehead (left). Scar on left thumb. Scar on corner of left eye. Scar on centre of lower jaw.

Registered as convict 8662. Ticket of Leave: March 28, 1848, revoked March 12, 1850. Became a man of means but found guilty of stealing sheep - 1870 (four years prison) and in 1873 (four years prison).
