Joshua Church and Frederick Howlett were charged with robbing the store-room of Arthur Micklethwaite, at the Old Tilt Wheel, of a quantity of buffalo horns, several sacks, a fig basket, and some other articles. Arthur Micklethwaite said that he occupied a store-room at the Old Tilt Wheel and had a quantity of buffalo horns, ... Sheffield Independent, 18 June 1842. JOSHUA CHURCH (57,) and FRED. HOULETT (21,) pleaded guilty of stealing four cwt. of horn pieces, six sacks, and a basket, at Sheffield the property of Arthur Micklethwaite. Church, who had been convicted before, was transported was transported for seven years. Houlett was sentenced to six months' imprisonment. Sheffield Independent, 9 July 1842.

Once for knives & forks, pardoned. 300 lashes for drunkenness. Labourer. Native place, Egham. Relations. 70th Regt 18 years. Brother James at N.P. 2? sisters, Ann Sarah Maria
