Built at Harwich in 1811 a square-rigged transport ship of 443 tons and copper lined she had two decks with a height between decks of 5 ft. 8 ins. In 1818, she had a major refit increasing the decks (and convict carrying capacity) to three. She was owned by the London firm of F. & C.F. Mangles.

Certificate of Freedom No. 29/60 dated 9 February 1829 Native Place: Westminster Trade: Tailor Year of Birth: 1805 Tried: 15 January 1822 Was transported to Port Macquarie for 3 years by the Sydney Bench 28th December 1824 for a Burglary and Felony and sentenced by the same Bench 23rd July 1828 to 12 months Labor in a Chain Gang for having Stolen property in his possession.
