Transported for wounding maliciously a Corporal of his regiment. Stated this offence. Striking a corporal with a ginger beer bottle, 9 times punished for small offences, single. Offences and punishments. 9 Nov 1839. Constable/ drunk and disorderly, 3 days solitary conft. On B & W. April 3 1840. Constable/ drunk and disorderly, conduct. 4 months imprisonment & Hard labour. Suspd. From the Police during that period. Oct 15 1840. Police, Gross disobedience of orders / violation of orders of Jas. Aitkin, one hour stocks. Dec 11 1840. Police, Repeated drunkenness and also losing his musket. 12 months hard labour in chains & dismissed the Police. Oatlands Chain gang, con?
