Family cnnections for Ann/e (Clerk) are: Amendment made Feb 2026. CLERK/CLARK Ann/e (Clark/Murphy) was born about 1764. She was tried at Queens co. Ireland in 1790 & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 9 1791 after a voyage of 6months on QUEEN. She married James (Woodham his first marriage) on 12 8 1792 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. She died on 22 9 1795 age31 & was buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta. [Some details taken from this Website] James (Woodham) was born about 1763 at Marshfield Gloucetershire. He was tried w/his brother Edward for Highway robbery of gold coins etc, on 11 5 1796 at Sudbury, of Robert (Weaver) & also William (Fowler) at Gloucester Assizes on 16 8 1786, sentenced to death commuted to Life, held on hulk CERES from 2 4 1787 at Woolwich Thames & Langstone Harbour Portsmouth & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1790 after a voyage of 5months on Fleet ship SURPRIZE; he was described as an incorrigible villain. He was Free by Servitude by 1799 & had a second relationship with Ann (Ryan her second relationship [Smee shows her name as (Regan)]). He died on 6 12 1808 age45 father of 2known children & was buried at St Phillips CofE Sydney.
