This is the part of the report which mentions him: Thomas Clowry, a carpenter, employed at the New Cattle Market, and the person answering the description given by the deceased, was brought in and examined; deposed, that he resides in the neighbourhood of the Lamb public-house, where he has resided for the last month; does not remember the deceased passing his door on that evening; is not in any way acquainted with deceased; is not in the habit of being out after dark; attended regularly to his work, and prefers remaining at home; has never had occasion to go to Mr. Dixon's premises; has only one dress which is a fustain jacket and trowsers. Sydney Herald, 17 Apr 1834.
