William Coburn, for embezzling a letter directed to J. Spurritt, ?rford, and stealing thereout a one pound note, death. Chester Courant, 2 April 1816. -------------------------------------------------- On Monday last a reprieve was received for William Coburn, capitally convicted at our last Assizes Oxford Journal, 23 March 1816. -------------------------------------------------- On Monday last, Wm. Coburn, John Sumner, Stephen Steele, William Jarrett and Thomas Fleming, were removed from our county gaol to the hulks at Woolwich, preparatory to their being transported to Botany Bay; Oxford Journal, 15 June 1816. ------------------------------------------------- Hulk Records at Woowich.
