THOMAS CANNON and JAMES CODDINGTON were indicted for feloniously making an assault upon Joseph Butter , on the 9th of August , putting him in fear, and taking from his person and against his will, a bank note, value 10 l. his property . Cannon called four witnesses to his character. Coddington called no witnesses to his character. CANNON, GUILTY - DEATH , aged 38. CODDINGTON, GUILTY - DEATH , aged 32. [To be hanged by the neck until they be dead] First Middlesex jury, before Mr. Baron Graham Sentence respited 26th April 1809 Age 33.
