Daniel Coe came to New Zealand in about 1851 with his wife Mary Ann Tapps and his son Daniel (2yrs old) he was one of Aucklands first butchers he left New Zealand and went back to Tasmaina and remarried Elizabeth Crounch had one daughter Louisa he died 1887 his son Daniel married a Sophia Moore they had 8 children
